Does CJ count sales made other than applied website

I want to know whether Cj counts sales made from websites other than what we submitted to CJ while signing up. No ads from google adwords or YSM, only forum and website advertising.

I have added banners of my affiliates on many high traffic forums and they are free signups, yet my account balance shows less than $20.

Important point here is it shows impressions of close to 10,000 for my 10 day old account. And when i see detailed report of signups, i just shows signups which are made only from my site.

Now, i want CJ expert and experience opinions only. Newbies with CJ plz excuse, i am very much confused now.

Personally, I wouldn't think that there would be a problem due to the tracking being done through your PID, not your website.

Actually, let me rephrase that. There shouldn't be a problem, as I had the wrong website listed for the PID I was using for 3 months, and I was still credited for the sales.

There shouldn't be a problem if you own the site(s) or control it. However since you don't know the history of some sites (they might have been banned by CJ) putting your PID and links out there is a risk. In addition their site might be known, or become known, as a spammer or something of the like and find yourself being questioned by CJ.

If it's your site and it's new, it shoudn't be a problem. I've some sites in that way and i get credit by cj without problems

As long as you are using an active CJ link, the sale/lead will track properly regardless of the traffic source.
