    if i cut the (encoded) url so i use only the FIRST part without the IMG src TAG...do i still get commision ?

    Probem is i want to use CJ URL in an email...so it needs to be a simple link.

    example: original CJ text link is

    <X href="http://www.tkqlhce.com/ft79nujemu9CEGAEblahIBFJHJB" target="_top">My site</X>
    <imgX src="http://www.tqlkg.com/q3122z15u-yJerkdfPPJSLPTRTL" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>

    so i just use the first part..

    http://www.tkqlhce.com/ft79examplelahIBFJHJB

    ..is this ok ?

    Otherwise i dont have an idea how to use it in email

    It's for tracking impressions. Merchants don't really pay attention to it because so many people just use plain text links & search marketing. It helps give affiliates stats about their click through rates, though.
