Does "Christmas" pay well?

I just reg'd my first ever Xmas oriented site, it's for christmas cookies I hardly think it's going to make me a millionaire but am wondering if anyone has made reasonable earnings from christmas related sites?

Not a smart move, a little bit too late. You should have started about 6 weeks ago. Now you won't get any traffic => no money!

 

Try and develop the site for next year. I think its too late for this year.

 

yeh, i know that I will have to enjoy playing in the sandox for the next 6 months, so it was hardly a plan for this year!!!

I have 28 Christmas-themed websites. I make enough in October, November and December to justify it for the rest of the year. The money is quite good.

i developed a christmas campaign in one of my sites and performed very well, with a unique page targeted to a specific keyphrase... next year, i´m gonna rock tha house with some more of those... good income in just 1,5 month.

 

you are too late you have started 3 months before for site to get some rankings.

I have never really thought about festive sites...nice idea!
But yea, I think maybe you should develop it for next year.

I started a christmas site last year around october and it did ok the first year. I built it up during the course of the year and this year it was a lot better. PS If you need a link to your new site I would be happy to help.
