Does chitika pay / convert well?

I have been thinking about using chitika for some time now but have heard mixed reports about it. Does it pay
well compared to adsense? Also is it good to use alongside adsense? Thanks.

I do use them, and have been using them for the past 3-4 years. We have had our battles, at one point they were the scum of the earth in my eyes...

But with the recession and all they have proven to be one of my most important networks I have left that still pays me a fair eCPM rate.

Yes, you can use them along adsense, and yes they do pay on time...becareful though, for some sites they perform really well, for some completely bad. It's a win or lose thing with them.

 

Thanks D-Block. What is the best niches for chitika would you say?
Also can you share the average price I should get for a specific niche?

 

Despite plenty of traffic I have made next to nothing from them, not enough to get a single payment.
