Does Chinese edu site work?

    Hi,guys,I know edu sites are good for seo,I also find many edu sites but chinese site.The language of my site is English,does it still work?

    It will still help just as other backlink but it wouldnt help much on SERP

    It still works well. You may consider to use Chinese as anchor text beside English. I think it better.

    It will work however the value of it will be dimished unless you use relevant anchor text

    Just think like a search engine:
    If a webmaster in China finds a website useful and places a link to it on his website, is that link any less valuable than one that an American places on his website?

    Is it less of a link? No.
    Is it less relevant? It depends. If the site is about local deals, then the link is not very relevant. But, if the website is something view internationally, then location is less important to relevancy.

    I don't think linking with page of another language gives you any benefit. From a visitor's stand point another language is mere a piece of text if he doesn't have any knowledge of that language.

    Edu sites has got great weightage in boosting SERP. I think it won't matter if the site has Chinese language, you will get equally benefited.

    How about translate English into Chinese, so that it will be more easier for Chinese people? Just an advance. Uoften can have a try. But I don't know if this works fine or not.
