Does changing Blog theme/layout affect Google PR?

My blog is only 3 months old and is PR2. I'm using Wordpress to run my blog.

If I change my WP theme, will my PR be affected?

 

I think No.But, put the meta tags,etc like you have now in the current template.

PR has nothing to do with themes, PR depends on backlinks you have.

Yup I also have the same opinion. PR has nothing to do with the template or theme of our website. A website get PR due to backlink and its content quality

 

Your PR will stay the same for sure. PR is only related to links. It could affect any search rankings you have, but probably very little.

 

Ok thanks all...I gues that's maybe more what I was thinking...that my search rankings may be affected.

I've changed my free stuff theme so we'll see how it pans the next week or so!

 

Yes it can.
Do not fix something that aint broken. I've left links all the same and changed layout and the page dropped off rankings. Then again I've done the same and it's jumped up rankings. Not worth my risk.

I am not confident but yes many good blogger adviced me that you should not keep changing theme again and again , it is not good for blog . They don't tell me specific reason but says changing themes again and again is not good .
