Boys and girls i am the master of sandbox i have achieved to sandbox all my sites at least 1 time.YES i totally believe that ,every time i was puting a lot of effort in linking, but it come's back to normal .The thing here is analogic if you do 1000 links first month u can do 2000 2nd month etc. <- (Its an example). So if you decide that at 3 months u can build links that supossed to come natural and geometrical u are in trouble.Sandbox effect mainly applies at googledances.
well it all depends how you do it. If your doing it by hand then go all out but if you are using some sort or program i would be careful because it might do more bad then good.
I agree with many others in this thread, slow and steady from quality websites is the best way. /*tom*/
Anything when done in excess proves detrimental and so is the case with link building as well. The trick is to keep the effort as natural looking as possible. Do not employ dozens of link building services, all simultaneously. Even if you intend to do it all by yourself, avoid doing it as if that is your only job. Such eagerness to jump the gun always proves very costly. Regards, RightMan
Never buy bulk link offers like 10000 links for 20$ and similar offer as it might get you in trouble. The best way is getting 20-30 quality link (high quality and related) every month. It will be slow process but results after a few months will be very nice.
When it comes to link building, caution is the watch word that will gain your website pagerank without getting your site either banned or sent into the oblivion of search engine results.
No it does not harm if you build links hundred a day. But if its tens of thousands a day, its another story.
it depends on the niche you are in. if you are a celebrity and you suddenly launch a blog it is no wonder if you will get 1000 or even 10000's of links quickly. Google does not frown at that. What google sees is which are the places you get them from. Get from directories, ffa sites, spam domains, blog reviews then you are going to be on the black list of the big brother
ya it would. But the main thing you need to keep in mind is that the anchor text should vary - which would make it seem natural.
I got from pr0 to pr4 at the last update. But my serp's went down badly. My site is indeed new, but i haven't created more than 10-20 links a day, and most of them are from social bookmarking sites. I havent used any bad technique, just blog/forum posting and social bookmarking. I can't figure out why the pr increase was as big as the serp slap. My site is still found for many keywords, but for the 2 keywords I was trying to optimize it is missing now. Expecially the internal article page i was linking to is missing. It apperas only when i search using the keywords (for wich it used to rank well before the last update) plus my domain name. Any advice?
