Does building backlinks for articles affects the main page SERP for that keyword

    Hello people I've got a question. SEO/SERP
The idea is to get multiple backlinks from forums using anchored keyword linking to my site.
So I've made an anchored keyword link(using forum signature or directly in the post) to my site main page, where all the articles are sitting with the keywords that I am focusing.
If I insert second (different text but similar meaning) anchored keyword link in the same sig/post to a different page of my website(directly to the specific article page for that keyword) will that increase my main page rank(SERP) aswell? Or it will only impact the particular article page. Also if someone searches for that keyword, will google show my mainpage or the specific article page?

I hope I explained it correctly, if you have question just ask!

You mean that you want 2 links in the same post(or signature):eek:ne link for main and one link for internal page.My advaice is to make a single link for main and 2 or as many links as you want for internal pages.Because if you make 2 links, one for main, one for internal, the link juice will be for both...so main page has lower.

Yea I will make more than 2 links, one for main page and others for internal but will it all count toward my main page or not?
I also want to get rank 1 on my keyword, will the extra links that go to internal pages with articles with the same keyword count in google for the whole site ?
