Hi, does bounce rate effect the pay for each click. In the past, I used to get a lot of high pay click, and the bounce rate was around 20. Now, my traffic has increase, bounce rate has also increase to 38, and the pay for each click becomes really low. Does the bounce rate has any effect on pay per click, or is that just because the advertisers are paying less because of the economy? The pay rate for each click is like 1/4 of what I got in the past.
Bounce rate is people who leave within 10 seconds. Basically they didnt like what they saw! 20-30% I would consider very low bounce rate. Some of my sites have almost 90% bounce rate, so I changed the design to test!
Yah, I know what bounce rate is, I mean does it affect the pay rate for each click? With lower bounce rate, the pay rate could be higher, and vice versa?
@hbl i dont think so. bounce rate is oposite of how much people got away from your site in few soconds. NO Bounce rate dont effect your site earnings CTR
I don't think bounce rate can affect Adsense earnings, if those visitors did not click the ads. But if they did and did not purchase the product, CPC may reduced due to smart pricing. This is the strategy of the advertisers if they noticed that the ad clicks are not converting well into sales. Just my 2 cents though.
yes,I believe it's an interaction between earnings and bounce rate, the higher bounce rate, the lower the earnings will be
