Affiliate programs for that niche: templatemonster + wordpress premium themes + tools for webmasters (SEO, traffic, adwords training courses or ebooks) + clickbank products + affiliate programs (as your readers may be webmasters or website admins) ...
In regards to a review of your website, to be blunt, you really need to proofread your content. It is horrible and wreaks of keyword stuffing. Bad grammar. Misspellings. No H1 usage. Spammy page titles. Improper capitalization. I hope you are just designing sites and not offering content services. Even the lack of Hx headings kind of demonstrates your ability in writing the Html correctly. Doesn't it? Bottom line, you have a lot of work to do.
Paid blogging always pays if you are writing for a niche segment, how to make money kinda stuff is too old to get you something. Selling blogroll links pays well if you have good PR
Yes you can make money with blogging but how much you make really does depend on how much effort you are prepared to put into it. I am still amazed at how many people just slap up a couple of banners and expect the money to pour in (it won't). I learned one thing from John Chow, do not put all your eggs into one basket, monetise your blog with as many different avenues as possible. I use the following to serve adverts and text links on my blogs: Adbrite Adsense Adtoll BlogRolled Clicksor Kontera PayPopUp (they don't seem to be working now) Text Link Ads I also use pay-to-post a hell of a lot. People who make real money (John Chow, Shoemoney, Jim Karter) put more effort in than you would at a regular 9-to-5 job.
Blogging can and does make money if you are good enough to bring visitors in your blog. Its not about the niche in blogging, its about retention and affiliation and if you can do them right, then you can be sure that you will be successful in blogging for sure.
Ok thanks I got the point .... so for money making first I need to generate good traffic in my blog... and the affiliations then i can find the right way as i want? right....??
I'm not sure whether blogs are makin money but 1 guy is makin money by blogs for sure blogertize.in is the site Have a look at the press release issued by the company.. Cool stuff I'd say.. I've already booked a $15 slot. seems kinda cheap given the fact that its for 3 year period Cheerz
@trashcan - Your name is appropriate, because that is where you are throwing your money. Now you know how these people make money off of blogs.
I am new to forums, don't know anything about blogging but wouold love to know about it. Even maneuvering though this forum is a chore for me because I've never done this before. I am reading all these comments and find them interesting and informative and I will hang around and stay informed about it. If someone out there has some tips for this Newbie about doing blogs, it sure is greatly appreciated. I think I like this forum. Erika
My friend Dodger.. Have a look at the following press releases dated 8th and 10th (or 11th maybe) and u'll come to know why I consider it to be a fine investment http://www.newdesignworld.com/press/story/4025 - Latest PR http://www.prlog.org/10114956-blogertize-to-launch-its-forum-by-30th-november-2008.html - Issued on 8th I guess This will give u an overview as to what the owner of the site plans to do.. $15 for a 3 year period seems cheap given the traffic this site is likely to generate Also, its always better to have the facts right b4 coming to any conclusion Cheerz
My facts are this. You get what you pay for. If you say "$15 for a 3 year period seems cheap", then it is exactly what you say it is. Cheap. I spend a lot of time refuting bogus claims in forums and blogs. It gets to the point where you see such claims, and there is no more need to "check the facts" any more. If you have any real argument as to why we should click thru and check the next best thing for a service, then state it up front. I grow weary of false claims, innuendo, bombastic ego and just outright stupidity. I look forward to your response.
My friend Dodger.. I’m not here to argue who is right, who is wrong, who’s got bombastic ego or who’s playing stupid. I’m just saying that if u’re confident about the content on your blog and not too keen on paying for advertising it. this could be (read: could be) one of the options.. The concept is pretty gud. As in the website would be launching a forum by Nov 30 and then will have quizzes/contest for the visitors. This I feel (read: I feel) could (read: could) lead to an increase in the traffic to that website. I think the concept over here is unique (though the idea has been taken from MDHP). I say that coz this bring IPO culture into play as those advertising with the site would be like investors, they invest in the website a chunk is spent on marketing (as mentioned earlier – forums, quizzes/contests etc) for the visitors. That the reason I asked u to go thru the links.. but I guess ur bombastic ego didn’t alow u to do so. Ultimately the bloggers/forums that advertise with the site are looking for loyal reads and an increase in their ad revenue. So I believe that $15 for 3 years is not a huge ask. I also understand that “u’ve spent ot of time refuting bogus claims in forums and blogs. It gets to the point where you see such claims, and there is no more need to "check the facts" any more blah blah blah crap†but u shd understand that u could be wrong at times… Having said that, I understand that I could be wrong.. maybe the site would be doomed tomorrow but if it works I think it’ll definitely do good to most of the advertisers on that site. Pretty sure many would agree with me on this front Hope my response was satisfactory SIR Cheerz (nothing against u)
Hey guys , im planning to open 1-2 blogs , and i have few questions , would i benefit using real domain and own hosting over blogspot one? Or there is no reason to even set own domain for blogs? Ill ask few more questions after this one is answered
