Does Blogger pass original PR to new assigned domain?

hey,
i have a blog on blogger which is pr4 and blogger offers an option for assigning your own domain to that blog. Will my BR be passed to new domain so that when i leave blogger i have a PR4 domain to continue with?
is there any possible way of adding pr4 to your own domain using high PR blogger blog?

 

I am also looking out for this information. Guys, please help both of us.

 

I don't think you can do a redirection from your blogger blog to your new domain. However, you can hook your domain from your pr4 blog then wait for the next update.

 

you cant redirect but you can assign your domain to blogger blog

 

Yeah, your new domain won't get a PR 4 unless you 301 redirect it to the blogger blog. Once the redirect goes though, so does your PR. I'd stick with using the blogspot domain that already has some trust, unless there are some really good reasons not to.
