    Surely if you are going to add links to your own sites in a blog comment then the content of the blog would have to be relevant to the content of your site.

    Otherwise the blog owner will delete the comment. Also, every time i have tried blog commenting the blog owner always seems to have the system set up to add a nofollow attribute!

    dont forget that its only google that (supposedly) respects the nofollow atrribute so blog comment will help with the other engines!
