Does backlinking hurts sometimes

Hello everyone,
I read somewhere that backlinking may hurt for page rank as well as with other issues. I haven't done much of it and want to be aware of it before getting into it.

Please give some insight.

 

If you're doing seo try to place backlinks naturally, try to imagine how natural links are building. If you have an amount of links don't place them at once. Try to extend this process to look natural. Don't place all links into main page, try to separate them into your content pages and with different anchor texts. So, try to be natural in this.

 

Okay, i agree with this one. One has to do it naturally sometimes. In other words when it comes to seo know your limitations and what the limitations are in terms of link building. Do not try to overdo things, or it can really affect your site, if not that bad.

 

If you got backlink from spammy site, search engine will penalty your link & decrease page rank. Submit your site URL to only high page ranked site.

Crawler cann't crawl all backlinks in one time. So try to get backlinks slowly for your websites

 

Backlinks from illegal and porn website will surely hurt.

if you are creating nofollow backlinks or black hat backlinks then they will create trouble for you. also make sure if your site is newly created then don't go with heavy promotion because google send them in sandbox for review and your website no longer seen on search engine.

In one word I would say - Natural. Be natural in your linking and don't get any links from link farms. Quality is better than quantity.

 

When you're tryng to do overlinking, search engines MIGHT suspect your doing malicious site activity, and linking to spammed sites may also cause some harm in your site. SO better do natural link building and choose your links wisely

 

Hi all of I would like to suggest you when you start to build links, you should have to increase links quantity gradually. fast link building can be heart your ranking in Google.

You said it right. Don't put your backlink on the websites like "get your backlink at our website!" and these backlinks that "hurt" are usually those that are sold $20 per 10,000.

 

If you build "bad links" then yes, otherwise nope.

 

Going crazy with backlinks and then doing nothing can also hurt your site
