In my opinion... This is a business. It is much easier to say no to someone via a form or e-mail. Pick up the phone and give a live person a call. It is much easier to plead your case and much harder for them to say no. If you are too scared to do this, you probably will not be successful.
I am in the process of signing up, if it wasn't for my ISP dropping my internet for almost a week I would be sorted by now. I found them easy to deal with and helpful so far - and they seem to actually type their emails, not cut and paste a standard answer that may or may not be relevant(I'm not mentioning godaddy support here at all). I had to prove I am the real owner of the site, easy to do, and fast response, within 24hrs.
