Does autosurf hurt?

    I wanted to ask whether autosurf programmes cause any decrease in pr or search result rankings?
    And another question to ask-Does changing hosting servers change search rankings in any way?

    Yeah my friend used AdSense and he got banned for using autosurfs. I'm not sure how it affects rankings, though.

    It`s a website where people surf ( there`s a script that shows them websites in a frame for 20-30 seconds. ) to get credits or money. You can also buy credits

    At the start, surf programs were great to get actual visitors to your sites.
    But then, the field got crowded and it became a useless way to advertise.
    Just like FFA's at the start.

    PR and SE ranking is only dependent on links. I have about 1500 visits a day. But, I'm not even in google. So...as autosurf gives u only traffic, its no good. But it givs disasterous results in Adsense. Never use it.

    You see, google hates anything that starts with "Automated" or "Auto". Maybe, google will ban u(my speculation). And...dont do work on your site to get instant results. It takes a lotta time. Be hardworking and patient.

    Link vault, a automated link exchange with a revolutionary new concept was sweeped away frm google some days ago(for more info...Link vault banned from Google ?) just b'cuz it was automated. U arent supposed to get anything without work. That's google's policy. Even Digital Point's Coop network is looked suspecious by Google. So...be honest and patient. I would like to post some tips frm my knowledge for maintaining a good site.

    1) Hard work.

    2) No expectation of overnight success.

    3) Understanding that aesthetic appeal is subjective.

    4) Information that no one else has.

    5) Not using framed pages.
