    Here's a question for you.
What would you prefer of the 2 mentioned below?
    1. A human reading your website content, or
    2. A scrapper bot scrapping your content.

At least visit the site once...After all the person will link back to your site and has worked hard making a website.

Secondly, although there are some very nice softwares which can handle automatic submission well, but most of them are not so good and will make too many mistakes which gets your article rejected.

Manual is better but time consuming.

If you have 2-3 articles to submit avoid automatic submissions.

Most automatic submissions go to already saturated article sites with thousands and thousands of articles and the possibility of your article being indexed will less.

For me I submit article manually but there's no assurance that it will be listed to their site. Because the article you submitted is also manually check.

I use article marketer. I took a life membership with them for 200$. They have a list of 750+ article sites. I can submit as many articles as I want and for as long as I want.

As I said, it is good if you have lot of articles to submit, but don't expect many links from a single article. Most articles go to sites which already have 10000+ articles and your article will be hidden deep within the directories.

If you are going to submit manually, submit to ezinearticles.com , goarticles.com, searchwarp.com and a1articles.com.

They are ok sort. I submit a lot of articles so AM fits my budget.

I used to hand submit earlier, but that took 2-3 days per article for 250 directories.

If you have less than 20 articles to submit per year, Isnare would be better as their distribution is better. However for large number of articles , nothing comes close to AM as it offers unlimited submissions.

You may have to hand submit to the 4 directories that I mentioned earlier.

Ezinearticles and Goarticles are mentioned in AM's list but I couldn't find my articles on them.

    AM's customer support is excellent.

    Thanks Sachin
So it's better to join a membership site than to purchase a $200 cost software

Article Marketer is not a software that you have to download to your PC. It is like any other article site.

You just have to submit to them.

If you have a free account they will publish your article, but won't distribute your article to other sites. If you have a paid account , they will send your article to all the sites on their list and also to sites that join after you published the article.

I use isnare for distribution and have good success. I do ezinearticles manually because isnare can't do it.

Instead of submitting your article to many directories submit it to few niche directories those are relevant to your article theme.

I like Jeet's viewpoints and also vote for manual submissions :)
