Does authorize.net seem trust?

    Hi,

I am looking for trust merchant for my store. I use PayPal as a customer and don't use other merchants for card processing. I can't use PayPal as a seller, because of my country in the stop-list. I am interesting in the authorize.net. What are the real customers thinking about this merchant? Does it seem trust for? Maybe there are other merchants (payment systems) that have more trust with customers?

    Thanks

Authorize.net is for US merchants only, and they are not a merchant account provider but a payment gateway, you will find plenty of merchant account providers offering the opening of merchant accounts for US merchants only at the authorize.net website and as well quickly on a Google search.

It may be the reason for why not many have replied so far.

    Hope it helps ;)

No, it's wrong, Authorize.net requires account in the U.S. based bank, but some U.S. banks give accounts for citizens of other countries. This is quote from authorize support:

I have decided to use 2co instead of authorize. This service take more commission and less comfortable for me, but it has more friendly interface for customers and more popular.

Since it is very difficult for the majority of none US residents to open a US Bank account without an SSN and address in the US I would defiantly say it is not wrong to say that it is for US Merchants only. Also since they state in the e-mail that you will need to have a US Merchant Account, a US Bank Account as well you can only process transactions in USD !
