Recently, I have tried some articles marketing and not really see any result. Can someone here sharing with me what have I missing or not doing right? Please help. Thanks
Article marketing still works, but it's tough to say how to improve without seeing one of your articles. Would you care to post a link?
I just recently started article marketing and it's slowly picking up more and more hits. I think it helps with your SERP's but like any type of link building, it will take time. If you get a good article posted on higher ranking blogs, it may help increase the rank increases.
I'm currently breaking into it and it seems that it will make some good money. You just need to keep a steady pace and you will make money soon enough. There are so many people that do it and I figure I can do the same.
I do some steady article marketing every month and my sites get an average conversion rate of 14%. Some of my sites make over $200/month. Article marketing seems to work for me.
Article marketing does work and it is very effective. The key to article marketing is to have good quality useful content, and enough quantity to create a following. Many articles get indexed by major search engines and with enough related keywords, will drive traffic to your site and gain more viewers. You have to consistently place good quality articles on the internet to create a strong following. There are some folks that write an article or two on a daily basis, and others that may write once a month. If someone were to submit 2 articles per week, that is 100 articles throughout one year. Article marketing can bring traffic, sales, and assist you in building a list of followers/subscribers for long term passive residual income. There are many sites where you can place articles and make money for your published work. Useful quality content, a strong quantity of your work, and a lot of patience, will help your article marketing experience.
meipunk makes some good points here ... gotta agree as I do the same. On top of that I create sites and monetize them with adsense and, or affiliate links. One thing I do is purchase several quality plr articles within a niche, the niche doesn't really matter to be honest, then I create a simple site with a relevant domain name geared to my articles and basically that's it. It's quite easy to find affiliate products for most niches, as you probably know. Of course, as is pointed out in the earlier posts here, the site(s) have to be promoted, so some work is involved. It's not a get rich overnight scheme. I found a site several months ago call wwwarticlesforwebsite.com that even gives members free content every month. I am not an affiliate so I won't plug it any more than that. But, article marketing is a good way to earn cash and well worth pursuing. Good luck
It can work if you write good quality articles and submit them to the right places. Getting an article on ezinearticles.com that targets a good keyword is a goldmine if you know how to handle things.
Article marketing should work if you write a good article and use relevant keywords and link back to your site. Also make sure you are using some of the more popular article marketing sites.
Once you have the proper techniques down, it's all about consistently producing articles. I did article marketing for a short time and it was only slightly profitable for me because I wasn't able to write all the time.
article marketing techniques are over used.. they are not as effective.. harder to write original content.. and search engines know it.. have you tried answers.yahoo.com? .. marketing on yahoo is the new thing.. get on the bandwagon before it gets old...
Eh, it still works, you just gotta be a lot more strategic with it than most people tell you about. Most of it is about keyword research. Have your keywords already been overused in authority sites? Have your keywords already been overused in article directories? Do your keywords have a lousy search volume? If you can answer no to those three questions, then you likely have a good keyword/keyphrase to work with. All you have to do now is: Put your keywords in the title Put your keywords in the heading(s) Put your keywords in the introduction paragraph Put your keywords in the conclusion paragraph Put your keywords once somewhere in context (middle of the article) As long as you can do that for a dozen or so different articles using the same keyword/keyphrase, you'll be fine. Just make sure your articles are unique and written well. Oh, when using the same keywords/keyphase throughout different articles, it is best to distribute them across multiple article directories. It will increase your odds on gaining a decent placement in Google, since Google only picks the top two articles from each article directory. I'm not going to disagree though when it comes to Yahoo Answers, they are king & require a heck of a lot less writing. Plus, their PR is a lot better than that of mot article directories. The same rules that I've outlined above though still apply for the most part (Yahoo answers don't typically have introduction/conclusion paragraphs or separate headings).
Three elements to any request for help. 1. What did you do? 2. What did you think would happen? 3. What actually did happen? Answer those three questions, and we'll be much better able to help. Currently, all we have is that you tried some article marketing and did not "really" see what you expected. So you probably saw some of what you expected, but not as much as you thought. What can you do better? Well, write more articles is probably the most obvious one. Article writing can be treated like a numbers game pretty easily; write a dozen articles, nothing much happens... but write a thousand articles, and odds are good something is going to happen.
I agree; Article marketing is a very powerful way to generate traffic and the best thing about it is, it's highly targeted pre-qualified traffic. Success is all in the keyword selection, choosing the right keywords and finding a good angle to approach your target audience from can make a big difference in the traffic you get to your articles. Going after the most popular keywords in not always the best approach, choose your main topic (Article Marketing) then try to break it down into niches "who is going to be searching for article marketing, what is the reason they will be searching this keyword, maybe they are looking for article directories, maybe they are looking for article writers... Try to think beyond the primary keyword because the competition for the keyword "article marketing" has a LOT of competition.
Article Marketing is a important part if you wants to promote your website. but there is no fix figure, means that how much traffic you can gain from article marketing. but you follow some instructions like 1) you should post unique content. 2) your content should not be a link farm 3) there should not be too much keyword stuffing
