Hi! I have observed that google doesn't count article submission as back link and also in pr. Can some one tell me it is correct?
It mostly depend on the site you are submitting to and the fact of link removal. Some submission sites have "nofollow" attitubute while others don't allow live links
Google and other search engines definitely count links from article directories as long as they find the links. You might have a problem only if you submit the same article to hundreds of directories. Otherwise it will be fine and indexed. You might want to ping or bookmark some of the articles.
Links on article sites do count and improve SERPs. They also bring relevant traffic and in so doing increase adsense income. I have a new website which is top of page 2 of Google SERPs after only 14 days. If the links on article publishing sites were not working there's no way I would have achieved it just but original, well written content.
It does help tremendously. Not only do you get traffic but it does increase Link Popularity. I have submitted over 1,000 articles over the last few years and have several sites on page 1 of Google.
Then there could be something wrong in your submission. Focus to quality article sites like articlebase, goarticles, ezine, etc... Article submission is one of the most effective way in building links.
I have use number of people from DP in last few months to submit article to different directory. Some article to few directory and some article to 100s of directories. I did not see any positive result. These service cost me from $10 to $100. May it dose take times see results but i am not too hopeful.
google mostly count the link which has <a href , but some sites remove < a href tag > we can see the site, but it will not be hyperlinked in some article submission sites. So google wont count those links.
Article submission does help if you can keep posting articles on a regular basis. Just one article on a website will not help a lot because it will be buried after certain days if your article is not informative for users
article submission is a great source of not only backlinks but traffic. i see success stories posted by lot of members here on the forum how they were able to achieve the desired ranking just using article submission method. all depends on where you submit, how you submit, and how often you submit.
