Does Article Submission is counted as Duplicate Content by Google ?

If you post the article first on your site and get them indexed first, you should get the credit for writing the article; if the article on Ezine articles ranks higher in the search engines it is in your benefit because you are having a link pointing back to your site and thus way more people will come to your blog if you provide real value in your articles; The duplicate content does no get your site penalized; I've seen a video where a Google representative was talking that you should promote your site to social bookmarking sites and isn't that the same content submitted to various bookmarking sites?

 

of course, you should write some unique description of your article or your bookmarks will be considered as spam

 

I think it is depend on your contents because if you copy your contents from the other comments then it is called duplicate contents and Google give penalty for that. So always write quality, original and topic related contents and never copy any contents from the other comments.

 

You should rewrite your article before posting neither google see it as duplicate and it can harm your SERP
