Yes I have used it many times and it's awesome. It's not a payment processor like PayPal, It's kinda western union services where you can send money to your family and friends. You can't use it frequently for business purpose.
Used 4-5 times (few months back). It is also safe. People from india used it most when paypal not support direct bank transfer. DON.
I am using once or twice a month. I am using it to transfer paypal money to my bank account using xoom and its very safe and reliable.
It's a very reliable method to send money and I use it to transfer fund for my sister in another country. It's a direct bank in to her account and so far never had any problem before.
I used it when paypal was not supporting direct transfers to indian bank accounts. My experience was bad.. as they never mentioned that u cant transfer from paypal account on ur name to your own bank account. Anyways, it has no use now. Paypal allows free wire transfers to Indian accounts.
Ya I also used it once only when Paypal did not support direct Bank transfers to India but since Paypal has started Direct Bank Transfers I have not used it. I got my funds in 5 days deposited in my Bank Account and without any problems..
Xoom.com provides service like western union. It accepts payments through paypal, US Bank, Credit Card Etc. But you can't use service of Xoom.com for business purpose. You can get your money within hours through cash pickup service, direct bank transfer service etc.
I haven't use the service of that site but I have read that it is good and reliable. Unfortunately some of the areas in my country are still not covered by xoom services
I have used it about 6-7 times .. you would get your money within 4-5 days.. But they charge more for transferring the money..

I have friends who are using it. They say that it is good. Though personally I am using paypal all through out. However, as stated from the previous response, its more of a money transfer service similar to western union.
