Web Developers, Programmers, and anyone who is good with computers use Google because it has more relevant results. Idiots use Yahoo as their primary search engine because they are attracted to the flashy design and entertainment news. There are however a lot of idiots out there and Yahoo search engine is definately worth trying to move up in.
I see the Alexa and other rankings, but when I analyze traffic on over 200 vastly different sites-it is virtually all Google-so where is all the so-called Yahoo traffic going????
I use google first, but I have found what I was looking for a few times there, when I had no luck at google.
I have a yahoo email account. I have also a google account. I use the yahoo to find the answer of the question. In google, detailed information is get about a topic.
I use yahoo search first most of the time. For spammed terms, yahoo often has less spammy terms IMO. Google sometimes is better at finding sites with completely zero SEO and heavily messed up page constructions though. Logical I guexss based on their reliance on link text.
Well this was asked by the OP in 2007 and then someone commented in 2016 and then it shows up in the feed on the homepage of DP. Still the answer remains the same, many of us have already stopped using yahoo search engines, until and unless we dont have option anymore. Just like me, because at my place, nothing works, whatever belongs to google, so I do use bing and yahoo.
You can t work without Yahoo ! Yahoo is a big search engine and thousands have yahoo toollbar on ther browser. My opinion is 1.Google 2. Yahoo
I used to think Yahoo and Google were like, the same. I mean, way back in 2000s, Yahoo was powered by google I think? or something like that. It was like Google was built into yahoo, and going to Google.com was an extra step everyone skipped when you could get the google search by searching on yahoo. Then Google grew into this large monster. I only use Google now.
Yahoo? What's that?? Lol...seriously, I don't use Yahoo anymore. Google and Bing simply overshadows their presence. They seriously need better leadership, management and direction or I do not see them lasting too much longer. It's no secret that they're seriously struggling to compete.
