Does anyone use those nerdy kneeling chairs?

    I'm talking about these:

or for an even nerdier old school example:

I've only ever sat on one for a few hours and it was pretty nice compared to a normal office chair. Anyone a 'long term user'?

Yes, I knew a kid with cerebral palsy who had to use one, but I wouldn't exactly call him nerdy...

I've seen a few (in Australia) for around $150. Which seems pretty good value for something I'd use as much as my computer.
When I tried one out, it was kinda like a Homer experience. My back all fell into place and blood started going to places it hasn't been in years.
Not sure how good it would be to use all day every day though.

My friend has one of those for no reason. He doesn't even use it, but I've say in it when he's had a lot of friends over and seating is limited. It's alright, but I'm lazy and prefer to slouch. I don't care if it is poor posture. Also, these chairs are horrible if you want someone to sit on your lap.

My back is ruined - so I need something to make me sit up straight.
