Does anyone use Thenewsroom to make money? If so have you been paid?

Does anyone use TheNewsRoom to make money? If so have they received any payment form them yet?

I am wondering because I may use them and am hesitant because they have not been around for a while yet. Has anyone else been paid by them and what has your experience been with them?

 

I have gotten paid by them, a total sum of about $800. I can provide you with the picture of the check for proof. I have another $1,500 made in my account, and I hope that I will be getting a check for that soon.

But, I totally recommended that you use them. It's a really great way to increase your sites revenue, alot better then adsense or adbrite in my opinion.

So don't be hesitant about joining up, its worth it.

Never heard of them before. What do they offer?

 

They are a cpm network. They provide daily news in many categories per day, each news article comes with a banner at the side. They also have video news. An example of their rates, $4 CPM for Video Feed. Which means that if the Video Feed is played 1,000 times, then you will earn $4. You can either select if you want the video to auto-play or the visitor has to manually click the play button.

If you will just be playing news articles on your site, then you will get paid $1 CPM for each news article on your site.

Each news article/video is made from flash, and it must finish rendering on your screen to get credit as a view.

I use them, but I haven't promoted my sites very much yet to earn enough revenue for a check. I really like them because you can build a keyword news feed that just keeps growing based on additional keyword matches over time. They offer more than just news videos, there are also DIY videos, news articles, and news images. Plenty to dress up your sites or blogs with content that will earn you money (especially if the end user embeds the news item from you on their own website or blog). I'll report back once I've received a check.

 

BTW it's called Voxant NewsRoom, and they recently changed their viral video method called the mash button to a different name, now called the embed button.

 

Oh. And not only that, but you also earn gift points. I know someone who earned $500 in revenue, and got 300 gift points, and he ordered ipod, golf set, tickets to a game and some other stuff. So not only do you get paid in money, but you also get points with them, that can get traded in for great prizes.
