Hey everyone, I've ran into a problem. I'm using the GIMP image manipulation program to edit all my graphics and I need some help with a project i'm working on. I needed to create sales pages and websites for some products that I created. I wanted it to have a header and footer, so I bought 10 header templates. Each header has the words "Website Name" and "Your Business statement or snazzy slogan goes here" already in the header. I've tried to attach a copy of the header to which I am refering, to this post. I hope it works. All I want is to take those words out WITHOUT messing up the bottom layer of the woman and background, and add my own text to it. Can you please tell me how to do this, in a very simple way. You see, I'm new to "gimp" and graphic design all together. Please let me know ASAP Your help is very much appreciated.
all they gave you was a flat file? nothing with layers in it such as a psd file or a gimp file (dont know the extension) ?
if you just have the flat image, it wont exactly be easy for a beginner because of the gradient in the background.
the folder says they are jpg files, if that helps......other than that, that's all i know.....I just have to edit them asap.
