Does anyone use free-to-register bullshit domains for seo?

Noticing some domains coming up high in google for high value terms, with exotic country codes such as tc (turks caicos), .hm (heard macdonald islands). eg www dot bueroartikel dot de dot tc.

Above domain had a backlink from a red cross chapter, not sure how they managed that one! But seemingly very little backlinks to be high for a good search term, so speculating that they are getting a freebie domain name boost as well.

    http://www.de.tc
    http://www.de.hm

allow you to register and redirect a bullshit domain for free. Get a couple backlinks, and seems to work okay.

Has anyone got any experience with above tactic?

    Thanks,

    Thomas.

I am pretty sure this kind of tactic will be short lived. Better not to waste time trying to get short term gain for long term pain.
