Does anyone pay for links added to directories

Hi

I see that many of you have the possibility to pay for the addition of links to your directories.

Does anyone use this possibilty. Can you give any numbers for example how many out of 100 pay.

There are hundreds of good free directories that I would submit to first. The benefit to submitting to paid directories is that there are usually less links per category and the links are generally quality business links. A good mix of free and paid directories is what I would suggest.
