I don't buy that many, maybe 20$ worth.
My neighbors buy enough to make up for my lack of.

    Problem is...
Fire"Crackers" are illegal in Canada. And Fire"works" just get lame. Come Halloween, I'll buy a few dollars worth. Have lots of fun with my friends. But the cool ones are like you guys mentioned, cherry bombs and black cats. Bottle rockets are the best, I mean, of corse we still get them, they just are not sold in stores.

Well, my brother still has a few boxes of firecrackers left over from new years eve. It was raining and I wasn't home so he didn't launch them.
The stuff we get here in Europe really puts the stuff you have in America to shame, guys ;)

Fireworks were banned in my county this year cause it's so dry. They're afraid it would start fires.

Our school becomes a domain for the Firework/Firecracker trade when Halloween rolls around, so I get my fair share there.

Here in Florida we have people that invest thousands of dollars into wholesale fireworks.

They then rent/own large tents and set up in parking lots, street corner's, along side the highway. Also we have "Firework Stores" that are along the main Interstates.

Many tourist stock up when they come down to the sunshine state. A great many of the towns and organizations put on free shows for the public.

Interestingly enough because of the drought that Florida has experienced this year I suspect many will cancer or may even be banned by the state due to wildfire danger.

Readily available year-round here in Missouri but you can't use them within city/town limits (tho come 4th of July, cops have their hands full and usually turn a blind eye or arrive "too late".)
