Does anyone out there use a LaptopConnect card?

Hi. I'm thinking about getting a LaptopConnect card (aka usb connect card). You know, those wireless internet cards that you get through your cellphone service provider? Anyway, I'm thinking about getting one. I like the freedom that it offers. I'd like to hear about other people's experience with them. Are they as fast? Are they secure? Please help me make this decision.

I'd like to add that this card would be my primary means of connecting to the internet.
