Looks like the same length of time to me. Why are you saying they are faster?

I never receive anything from MSN, the big "G" is where the best traffic comes from since it is mainly used.

I'm ranked ok on MSN but don't get any hits from there. It may be quicker but if you get no traffic from it then it's useless.

I don't know why, but the results vary from people to people. Some get indexed and ranked well with microsoft quickly whereas other get ranked with Google faster.

I am one of those who got ranked with Microsoft quickly, but they obviously don't drive much traffic. Google on the other hand will give you more traffic than atheletes at the olympics!

I've heard that it takes longer to rank is MSN for some reason, even though it is not the most-used search engine out there.

MSN has the best quality traffic. Google has more of it, but they're mostly bandwidth wasters. MSN has the real deal people.

Actually I think MSN search engine is way better than Google. The Search results is based on content alone and not by pagerank.

    Better Results!

Yeah Msn/live has great traffic if you know how to Seo your site for the right keywords.
I have gotten good rankings for a bunch of sites in a period of 2-4months.
Msn/live search ranks sites just like Google did back in 02-04'.

Page rank was really introduced to stop the spam sites.

It’s easy to flood a page with keyword stuffed content, but getting thousands of links to one page is hard work, and this in turn reduced the number of spam results in the serps.

So its not that MSN brings back more relevant results, but they have thought far less about preventing spam sites IMO.

I ranked somewhat high for a few days in MSN and then dissappeared completely and received zero traffic. It might be quicker that we rank in MSN but we do not get that much traffic.

Pretty much the same happened to me. I have two companies in the same industry and therefore two websites. I was in the top 5 with the old MSN and also in the early days of "Live". But about 10 months ago, both sites disappeared.

They have slowly been coming back, and are now on page 2 or 3 where no one will ever see them.
