Do any of you market your websites with physical material such as flyers, signs, word-of-mouth, etc.? If so, what have you done in the past?
I know several people who market their sites with physical materials. They use a wide range of items including bumper stickers, flyers, signs, banners, magnets, business cards, etc. One of my friends gets a decent amount of Web traffic by leaving his card around town.
I live near a state university, so I staple flyers to thier message/ad boards located around campus. It doesn't bring a ton of traffic, but every little bit helps.
Word of mouth [real or virtual] is great. Tell all your friends about your sites which maybe useful to them.
