I have like 30 real estate domains that are just sitting there and I wanted to know if anyone here uses godaddy cashparking and if you do do you make some decent cash with it???

I know it depends on the domain but I was just wondering if anybody has tried it.

35 dollars to 50 cents? Did you mean 35-50 cents?

The only way to make money on a parked domain is if there is traffic going to it.
If there is traffic going to your domain, why not monetize it yourself instead of having godaddy make half of your money?

So if there IS traffic, just throw up a landing page with some basic content and several ads.

If there is NO traffic, no need to do anything.

    Thats good advice!:)

i had a basic trickle of traffic in about 3 of 33 domains that I parked. I will look into finding what affiliate product fits.

I've cash parked a ton of domains and made pratically nothing on them.. it's worthless.. if traffic is coming to the domain, why park it? monetize it for real!

I would suggest you use sedo.com if you want to park your domain. Why to pay GoDaddy for parking domains? Sedo.com provide high PPC.

I would say if you don't want to do anything with those domains, you're better off selling them than parking. Even if you get $10 for the domain, it's more than you'll ever get parking.

But, you can quickly monetize the sight by throwing up an affiliate review, or writing an article and using adsense.

Then write 5 articles per week, submit the to directories (ezinearticles), use Socialmarker.com to get a lot of free backlinks.

Then you'll be making a lot more than parking!

    HI
    go with sedo..

Have you ever clicked a godaddy lander? Anyone here?
the lander looks like a seen it before, parked page, imo

i get really good money parking with sedo.com and its FREE " i do hope Bob is listening?"
im not in sedopro or anything like that. but they do, and im sure everyone here will be able to confirm, you see a lot more sedo landers in the top ten than any other parking company. godaddy included, Godaddy do market via adwords the heaviest, But i guess thats why they charge so much. and its not to send traffic to you, its just to get themself more customers,

one thing that hasent been mentioned here and is paramount to your earnings, whoever you park with is the KEYWORD you choose.
It has jack to do with the domain name, I can say that because i have (900) typos that are not even real words, the KEYWORD makes me all my money, Think BIG long term passive income industries? and target it. Targeted, localised real estate is good, but still not the highest, paying by at least 500%
about 10% make me 5 euro + a month, thats 11 times P/E ratio and there is no way in a blue fit, i would or anyone else would sell them. Park them, Test them, Then sell them. But Only sell, if they cost more than they make.

Sedo worked very very well for me.
No only do you not have to pay for the service, you get very nice eCPM's.
Plus if your site happens to be getting decent enough traffic, there is a chance you will recieve an offer on it.
    :) :)

I have domains at godaddy, parked and sedo. Sedo by far is the best. I make like .01 or .02 from godaddy and about the same from parked. and parked with give you clicks then take them away! But, like what was said before here, if you have traffic then park it yourself! I have several friends whom I am now parking their sites for as well, since godaddy did nothing for them. they hardly made the 10.00 or whatever per month. Now I get 10.00 per month from them and do a share of the clicks.
