Does anyone know why my account isn't activated?

    Hey guys, Im new to adsense. I got approved and set up my account. However, my account isn't activated yet. On my mainpage of my adsense account it says that I have succesfully created an ad unit and it has a green check mark beside it. Below that, it says to place the ad code on my website and this action is still pending. I took the ad code and placed in on the banner on the homepage of my website, but it is not showing up on my website and there is no change to my adsense account. Does anyone have any recommendations? thanks in advance

    It take min 2-3 days before adsense will show ads on your website.

    You were said to place AD CODE ON YOUR WEBSITE. Not the banner. THE CODE.

    Nope! After you have placed the ad code on the site, it takes 2-3 weeks for Google to conduct the 2nd stage of the review process provided eh code was added properly.
