Does anyone know why adsense is displaying these ads on my page?

While I realize my article isn't exactly keyword loaded, I would like to know what is causing this blog post to display genealogy and last will ads??

    here is the post:
    http://www.fangbear.com/2007/04/30/5-stages-of-grief-requiem-for-a-vanboi/

Ive done some tweaking and I'm still not sure what I need to remove to get something that is actually contextual to display. any help would be appreciated.

I don't see any text really on that page, G needs something to give you relevant ads (I would say at least a good size paragraph)

It could be anchor text for your links, or even your domain name that could be giving you those ads - as it doesn't have enough content to read from

I would give it another 48 hrs after putting text up to see results in the ads :)

Also - you can 'highlight' certain phrases and such for G to pick up on those and display ads related to those exact phrases.

Adding appropriate keyword metatags can help as well.

Ya, I've definitely done that. It seems like my metatags are being overwhelmed by my ambiguous content. No worries though.
