I am looking to buy domain names that are being used.... and want to remain anonymous

I would like to use a "Domain Broker"

Does anyone know the best company?

I saw SEDO does it for 10%...... thats kind of harsh isnt it?

Arent there ones that do it for a flat fee only if you get the domain, say for like $65?

    Please post any info --THANKS!!!!

that 65$ flat fee is for just searching domain owner email and sending a crappy email to him. there will be some % fees will be there for escrow in almost all services. dont go with sedo because they just charge 65$ for sending a mail to owner :D

all brokers will charge a % commission and 10% is fairly nominal. 15% is more of the standard, and some are higher like even 20% - 30%

there is nothing shady about Sedo though i cant speak to their broker service since ive never used. but i have sold domains there. they are one of the most active domain aftermarkets and its their whole business.

in fact, my domain sledding.us is on auction there right now

I can understand a broker charging a % for the sale of a domain (The more they sell it for, the more they make) But charging a % for acquiring a domain seems to go against logic. (The more they pay for it, the more they get paid)

    Cheers
