I'm looking for some good informative tutorials on web design.
I am a newb so I am looking for something more aimed to beginners. Preferably photoshop and dream weaver tutorials.

    Any adivice is appreciated.

Lynda.com is pretty good. If I were you, I would look into learning development with CMS platforms. Design can come after. Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, etc.

w3schools.com xhtml/css tutorials are very good if you want to learn standards-complaint code. Learning this will give you a good base to go into dreamweaver and then you can use photoshop/fireworks to touch up your designs.
