Does anyone know of any honest email advertising companies?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any reliable but reasonably cheap companies that you can send off solo advertisements to or do email marketing with which actually yields results from traffic or sales? I have used topsurfer and madvlad but they are being totally saturated with advertising so my affiliate site may have been advertised many times already there or is just so overrun by other adverts that people don't read it. Does anyone here have any good experiences with email advertising companies and can you point me in the right direction?

How do you go about doing this, i am a complete newbie as regards this stuff, is there any way of getting this done easily for a newbie?

Look around in DP forums and you will find more than enough info on how to get organic traffic. But the truth is "it is not a quick fix", like anything the more time and money you put into it the better the results you yield.

As a newbie the best advice I can give you is stay away from the so called Internet Guru's who promise you the world at very low cost.

There are many credible email companies that have large corporate clients. They're not cheap however, so I suggest you experiment with email marketing using you own email list until you know what conversion rates you can achieve. Once you know this you can calculate your profit per email (assuming you're selling one product through an affiliate program). It is then a matter of acquiring more email addresses (legally).

I won't claim to be an expert but I would say that the highest converting emails are those sent to people that are loyal subscribers and readers of your content. Not on some advertising companies list as a result of entering a competition. So again like anything, it is not easy.

I expect you have tinkered in the world of PPC marketing like Adwords? As you can fix your cost per visitor, it is another (least hard) way to get targeted traffic to your site or affiliated merchant.
