Does Anyone know of any High Pr Forums that you can spend time in. I am not talking about posting lightly, I mean, I would have to have real interest and insights or I would not post. But it seems like most forums I post to are on 0 PR pages. I mention this because someone on the linkvault thread suggested forums over paying for links but it seems with the forums I know about that would take a long time.........
So you want us to tell you high PR forums you can post in but only if you have an interest in that subject but you didnt tell us the subject?
Yes, exactly. I have interest in many subjects, I post and lurk in a wide array of forums. Of course there are some i would have no interest in. The highest PR one I know of is forums.postnuke.com By the way I just bought a link in your directory donatesearch. (home-business-match.com) that is a cool directory! subjects I am most interested in are business and webmaster related but I lurk in some others also
That's strange. Those forums that cover a lot of niche topics often have higher PRs like at least 5 and thats enough I think. Of course a newly created thread will be PR-Zero!
Yes, I am interested in ones that pass PR. That seems like one of the most effective ways to build pr but I understand not all forums pass PR. How do you know which ones do and do not? Thanks
Please don't get caught up with Page Rank. It means nothing. I'm assuming you want to join a community for networking and are looking for quality? I would do a check for "keyword + forum" or "keyword + message board" or "keyword + bulletin board" and see what ranks for that in Google. Then go check them out and scroll to the bottom to check out the forum stats. I would look at number of members, number of members/visitors currently online and most members on at one time. Then you get a picture of a forum's popularity. Also check out the posts. If no one's posted in a week, it's not an active forum.
I agree with that! I had a better SERP ranking at Google when I was PR0 than I do now that I'm a PR5 after the last rehash. Scott
