    check alexa for a web, it also offered rank and traffic comparison between webs.

    Alexa is the most popular and trusted service for showing trends (not actual traffic stats though)

    Check out Google Trends - with their new “Websites” feature allows to compare traffic sources over different periods of time (e.g. past month, past year, in a given month) on different territories (countries, states, cities). Along with that it will also show you “related” search queries and websites.
