Does Anyone know if the following directories are still operating?

    I was wondering if anyone had any information on www.americasbest.com and www.mavicanet.com. I have been attempting to contact these directories regarding submissions for over 3 weeks now and I have not received a response from anyone. Have these directories closed up or changed contact information????


    Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    if you're submiting to free directories there's would be no guarantee your site will be listed. there are so many directory admins running away from responsibility to check new site entries.

    Just a quick look at mavicanet shows that they have over 300,000 links listed in that directory. I would think they don't have alot of time to waste responding to emails asking why your site hasn't been listed after only 3 weeks. Also, it's a free directory. You may get listed. You may not. But why worry about it. You are not out anything except a couple minutes of your time.
