Does anyone know if i need a professional

    Hello.
    Does anyone know if i really need a professional to put up my blog for me.
    i just registered a blog www.tundelogzy.com
    i used word press .there is no single post on it yet.i want to know if i really need to a professional to design and also do the posting or is it something i can really do myself?i don`t have much knowledge
    on computer.i only know typing.no graphics idea.i will also need some tips on how i can really get the best utilisation of the blog.

    Well - we all started with little or no clue about blogging. Wordpress is an excellent blogging platform. Try do the posting yourself. Don't fall into using free script/software that automate blogging. Start write something you know about and build it up from there. Good luck and Happy New Year to you.

    there are lots of free themes you can download and use that look nice

    You only need a professionally designed theme if you choose to have one. Free themes are easily available and work the same with the exception of not being unique. If you can find a topic that you like and can write about it, then that would be a good start.

    I don't think you really need a professional..

    But tell me a little about your goals.. What you hope to achieve etc. Then I can tell you whether you need a professional or not.

    I didn't know "jack" about blogging back in April of 2007 (on free hosted wordpress)

    . I have learned quite a bit from this forum (the blogging section), especially solving some of the technical problems that I had in the past, as well as getting plenty of ideas and suggestions.

    As I start 2008, my blog is on a dedicated IP, PR 4, and averaging 500 U's a day, with a few hundred subscribers, an email list, and ...I get free stuff, as well as make a little coin, now and then :).
    From nothing.
    You will never stop learning...best to dive in now, there is plenty of help to be had.
    You will be glad you did in the long run...trust me.

    Thanks so much for your advise.but i want to know if free services on wordpress and paid ones requires the same way of getting started.
    Your assistance is really needed at this stage `cos i don`t want to go back to 8-5.
    the blog will be about how to make money.
