Does anyone now how to get MSN to crawl my site more frequently? I joined and submitted my site to the MSN webmaster tool, but it says I haven't been crawled since 25th October (which is when I joined the tool). Any ideas as to what I can do?

Have you checked if your robots.tx is allowing MSNbot to crawl your pages?

some of my pages are like that but most on msn only get crawled like one a month it seems.

The pattern is that the more often you update the pages the more they get crawled..
Same is true for all but msn is alot slower then others to crawl already.

Yea, I have noticed that too. MSN doesn't crawl very frequently. However, on a brand new site they seem to index almost as quickly as Google and Yahoo. Google and Yahoo are slower to index all of the pages, but MSN is slower to index the first page.

Nope, MSN is not quick as google and yahoo in terms indexing.

MSN spiders my site almost daily now but only reaches pages with clean URLs. None of my forum threads are indexed as I assume MSN can't handle the URLs.

My site is updated daily with 2-5 new pages so this may be why. Regardless the amount of traffic MSN sends my way is about 2% of what Google does.

Generally speaking msn bot crawls any site at lesser frequency than the google and yahoo bots. This I have personally experienced in my site

I put up this site on November 17 and as of December 17 it is listed in the number one spot for the keyword "house shutters" on MSN. It barely even ranks on Google and Yahoo.

    add content like

    email form
    windows
    software
    USA ****

then MSN will start indexing pages fast , ut most of them are useless for traffic
