Hi, I'm looking for a simple script, where a visitor can post text direct to my web page, once it is submitted it will instantly be displayed. It would also be nice to have a script where you need to put in a validation code in before the text is displayed. Can anyone help? Thanks
you may need to be more specific where on your web site every page - any page or jost a particuilar page ?? just a few lines like comments or an entire article ? did you look at hotspcritps http://www.hotscripts.com/ and see thru all the scripts they have there ? most likely you find thare what you need - eithe rin PHP or perl other fine resources are matt's script archive http://www.scriptarchive.com/ and the cgi resource index http://www.scriptarchive.com/ they have a perl and a PHP section with many excellent scripts for all purposes
These are typically called "shoutboxes" and you should have no problem finding a script as hans has said.
