No one knows for sure. Some keywords are high paying like Medical, Loans etc and some are low paying.

You can get $0.01 per click to $2 or more per click

It depends on your site, the quality of your traffic, what your traffic does after they click an ad - and then, of course, also what the advertiser bid. :)

I average around .75 to $1 a click but thats just because my site is on the top ten for multiple keywords (or atleast thats why I think I get more)

I was going to suggest the same as snowbird. The best way to find out what you'll get is to see what they will charge you place an ad. Shave google's commission off the top of that number and there you go.

i know about the adwords method, but that no where near represents what i earn! for one or two of my keywords its $25 - $27 i only get about $0.78 a click, does this mean for every click google takes $25???

As an advertiser you can bid on each keyword for onsite and offsite display. The Adwords traffic estimator provides the cost to be displayed on Google Search. The offsite advertising, Google's Content Network, displays ads in the form of Adsense on our sites. Advertisers bid much lower for Adsense keywords.

If you want to maximize your earnings, use the Adsense preview tool to discover some of the ads displayed on your site. Then use the competitive ad filter in Adsense to block out the bad sites. You can block up to 200 sites.
