Does anyone know hit wise? I like their product however, their price is kinda too high. Their product can help you to collect want site and keyword generate the most traffic to your competition's site. Does anyone know similiar product which cost lower? PM me anytime Thank you
Hitwise is OK if you can afford to pay it unfortunately you can get the a decent portion of information from lots of other tools if your work at it. It's nice to know more elusive stats like market share and closest competitor but when you examine exactly how HW get their data it's not exactly amazing. There is a lot of generalization and averages so it's not 100% sterling. I had a previous employer who used it and he gave me access while I worked there. Overall I would rate it 8/10 for usefulness but only 6/10 when you factor in the absurd cost.
I always have Hit Wise sales reps calling me asking me if I want to buy their reports, I always tell them its a rip off. For a small business it's ridiculously expensive. Honestly I can't imagine anyone actually seeing benefit in paying such a price for a report which you could probably work out anyway within a certain tolerance.
