I noticed most of the work from home webistes that are posted seem to be a gimmick. Does anyone here know of any legit Work from home sites?

Well, I have seen a lot of Work from Home websites but none of these had lived for more then 2-3 months. I'll say make DP your home and go to the BUY,SELL,TRADE section and you will see a lot of people offering and looking for different kind of services.

The right question is, which kind of work from home business you are looking for?

    There are so many options.

A lot of those work from home sites are scams. They are little more than the year 2000's version of Don Lapree.

You might be able to make millions out of your one bedroom apartment like he did. But it will not be by following the sheep.

Most sites set up to promote work at home is just trying to sell you something. If you wish to work at home, you need to access you talent and go from there. There is no such thing as get rich quick and easy. It takes time to build a home business and it takes takes lots of effort.

Believe about 10% or less of what you read and hear and follow those who you know are really making money. If I made millions of dollars, why would I spend my time selling my idea for $19.99. Chances are, that is the only way they are making millions.

I have not tried this type of work-- but others I have read like paid surveys. Also blog advertising seems to work if done within the context of the topics you currently write about on your blog. Rebate processing looks to be hot-- as well-- however, here again-- i have no personal knowledge or experience.

    Q...

Are you talking about direct sales opportunities or internet marketing or what? You might want to look for blogs (like mine ;)) that give generally unbiased reviews or opinions of different marketing strategies and programs.

For example, I try and write about my own personal experiences with what I'm doing and learning while working online and I know tons of other people who do the same. You just have to do some searching.

I work from home, and have full time for years. But all my eggs are not in one basket.

I do mainly membership sites now, but have tried, succeeded, and failed and just about anything out there in some form or another over 10 years. Getting to where you make enough money to work from home is a marathon, not a sprint. So plan accordingly.

I check work from home links from within a forum. There's less 'junk' in the listings.
The one I use is whydowork.com
No, I don't benefit from you going there, I just think it's a great forum, I've been a member for a year, year and a half, and I trust it.

What sort of work are you looking for? I know a couple of tele-marketing companies - well estabished. If you've got experience, landline and broadband you'd earn from £10 an hour with one (I've made £80 an hour). The hours are to suit, very flexible but it is freelance. It's commission only. I don't think it would suit anyone who hasn't had experience. Anyone who has sold magazine advertising and done well would do equally well with this but less hours, no travel and no annoying colleagues. PM me if you want more details. I've worked for this company, in between other projects, for nearly two years - my only complaint is that they sometimes pay late - they pay every Friday for the previous week but 1 in 4 weeks it is not paid until the Monday.
