Haven't posted on here for a while.

Apart from here and Sitepoint, does anyone know any places to find good quality websites for sale?

 

try ebay, you might find some good deals there, but make sure you are buying from a trusted seller

 

I haven't found any good sites on ebay, but you can get some great deals on domain names

 

Godaddy has TDNAM (The Domain Name After Market - www.tdnam.com). It's basically an online auction site for domains and websites. I've found some really good domains there for cheap. I haven't bought a domain with a website there yet, but the domains automatically get added to your godaddy account if you win them.

 

Ask here in the forum - that is good idea, also you can buy templates.

 

I would stay here or sitepoint. Less chance of getting ripped off.

My experience with trying to buy websites on eBay is that they are almost always a duplicate website or soon to be a duplicated website and sold again and again. The seller will change the format/colors, get a new and similar URL and list it again and again.

 

Try sedo.com it's another good place to buy site.
