Does anyone know a reputable domain parking service?

I want to register a domain that is currently not taken, but I don't have the time to actually put up a site any time in the next 3 months. I don't want to pay full price for hosting because I wont be using it right away. Does anyone know of a reputable domain parking service that will register the domain to me and let me transfer it do a hosting service when I'm ready?

There a quite a few domain parking companies you could use, three I have used are Parked.com, Bodi & sedo who are all reputable companies.

If I understand you right you need a temporary hosting which is free right? You can try http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officelive/default.aspx. You get a free domain and hosting but is slightly restrictive. You can transfer the domain to another registar by paying the transfer charges.

I would say SEDO. I have been parking with them and the results are quite good.

Sounds like you just want to register the domain to hold until you're ready to buy hosting and make a full site. I recommend just buying through a domain registrar (http://www.ohashi.info/registrars/ is my list, you can sort by what you need) and then just buy hosting from a webhosting company when you actually need it.

If your definatly going to park it, then SEDO is where its at. My experience with them has been good and have around 10 parked there, making a few cents from it as well :)

For all the people that recommend Sedo, have you actually tried any other companies besides Sedo? You'd probably be quite supprised how much your revenue would improve just from changing from them.

It doesn't seem like you're looking for a parking service per se. You can just register a domain at your registrar, and use their default parking until you are ready.

yes, Sedo (Pro) does perform better for some domains. There isnt one place that does the best for every domain.
