Does anyone know a good script for sending out newsletters?

I need a new newsletter script... I have an existing table called "users" where all the emails are located. It should have a feature to only filter the emails that have field "newsletter" set to "yes". Is there such a script available?

 

In your case, you need to write some code to do this, also add stmp server.
In another way, you can use rss to email functionality which was provided by the 3rd party, such as feedburner, now I used it as my newsletter sender.

PHP List is a popular open source newsletter script. You can customize this to fit your need.
There is a "confirmed" column, by which you can know that they have subscribed and confirmed their emails.

I would also suggest looking into PHP List. It is an excellent newsletter tool. You can import all of your email addresses into into and manage the list easily. Just make sure you have a good host that will allow you to send out mass emails. Your hosting account may have also come with a newsletter script. Check cPanel to see if one exists.
