Does anyone idea of the date for the next Google Page-rank Update?

Are you kidding?
There was a PR update at the end of June and another one a few days ago, that was some kind of fixing of the June-Update? Seems that everybody here missed it.

I´m wondering myself why Google is still updating this stupid metric and meanwhile telling us webmasters we should not focus on PR for website optimization...?!!!

I guess Matt could have a bit of an idea, though not so sure...
Seriously, lately the toolbar updates are very irregular, so maybe 4-5 months after the one at the end of June.

Btw, the PR of 2 of my sites has changed after this last update - noticed it sometime in the first half of July. One went down by 1 and one raised up by 1 (after the main update).

 

We focus because for many people (excluding myself, but including people who I work for) it is for them a good measure of the link pricing...though there are many other and more accurate ways for this...

Otherwise, I also think it was some kind of fix - the latter update in the beginning of July.

 

I notice that google start to make page rank update more frequently.
Is not hard to believe that until the end of august will do again.
